Another excerpt from our adventure from Accra, Ghana to Tombouctou, Mali. Mopti is a riverside town and important trade route. Salt slabs come in to town from a three day trip down the Niger river. The area is an interesting mix of Tuareg, Fulani and other west african ethnic groups. And surprisingly has a great french restaurant "Cafe Bissap"
